Our Mission
- We follow the "Natural
Horsemanship" methods of training of Clinton Anderson from Downunder
Horsemanship, John Lyons. We strongly believe in the natural
horsemanship way of training, not only young horses to teach them
respect and manners, but also for those horses who might need a
refresher course in respect and manners!
- Our mission is simple: provide you a trail
horse with a basic foundation of trail etiquette and manners, to help
build your understanding of horsemanship. Our goal is to match the
personality of the rider and horse so that your experience out on the
open trail or back country is safe, fun, long lasting, and a positive
experience. We will provide a horse and tools to help you communicate
with your new horse.
- We come across healthy sound horses that people
do not know what to do with. Sometimes we need to help them
understand that there is no "horse eating monsters" in the trailer or
that mud puddle is not going to swallow you up whole. We look for
horses that are slightly different in color and attitude. We give our
horses some tools to deal with humans better. Then we find them a loving
home, so they may have a fun and enjoyable life. If you are looking for
a good trail horse that will take you to the edge and back, look no
farther.
